Got in the mood to do this up after playing a bit of Thunder force V (great game series if you like Shumps )
This was a little experiment I did up, combining a photo element with one of my sketches and trying to blend the two together.
Not sure if I did an okay job but For the most part I'm surprised how well the coloring on the ship matches with the sunlit background element. ^_^

Such an awesome ship that thing is.
One of the most coolest moments with it had to be in Thunder Force V where you actually have to fight it! The main player ship for most of the series, and now it's fighting against your replica! How awesome is that!
