Got in the mood to do this up after playing a bit of Thunder force V (great game series if you like Shumps )

This was a little experiment I did up, combining a photo element with one of my sketches and trying to blend the two together.

Not sure if I did an okay job but For the most part I'm surprised how well the coloring on the ship matches with the sunlit background element. ^_^

I bought Thunder Force II and After Burner II for the Sega Genesis today at Recycled Games.
The games are awesome and I love Thunder Force! Awesome artwork! :thumbsup:

Im a die hard fan of the saga... Imagine them releasing thunder force I thru VI in addition to the sharp X68000 of thunder force II and broken thunder all for Xbox live and the PSN... Alas a fan can only dream. & I'll take an anime movie of the saga in the style of macross plus.

I could be wrong (I likely am), but that looks like one of the machines that forms Compatible Kaiser in The Great Battle IV.
