mostly a collection of quick doodles for my metal sally design for the fic. Most of these are all experiments in drawing more expressions, showcasing the internal mechanical details, and doing up more action like poses.
Nice to see the skin stripped away to show that indeed that is no costume. And from a professional stand point, it's actually rather informative to see Sally's robo-breasts without the protective casing on.
And I can see Uncle Chuck in spite of himself admiring the sublimities of his own work.
And while she still has no toes (as we can see from the cut away) and is stuck with permanent boots on her body I'll admit, it feels... BETTER to see robotocized Sally wearing an actually jacket than it being a part of her. I can imagine it would feel better for Sally too... because it means she has a -choice- in what she's wearing.
What I'm REALLY impressed by is that the mundane animals are willing to get close to Sally.
The cut away drawings was mostly just to show the theoretical intricate inner workings of a robian (since in neither the cartoon or the comics have ever went in depth on this matter)
From the get go I designed sally's robotized form without her vest as opposed to it being intigrated into her armor. (though I admit on the earlier versions it was hard to tell.)
as for the sketch with her and the bird, It's mostly to show her caring and gentle aspect of her personality is still unchanged despite her altered physical form.
As for the shadowbot, yeah he certainly didn't expect such a powerful blow from such a small bot
This is just incredible stuff. I mean... I can't even draw a gun that doesn't look like it's made of cardboard. Your attention to detail is just astounding, Zee. I mean... really.. Just wow.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

There are viruses & hacker traps everywhere.
Vigilance is the key to win this battle.

ShadowBot: "UGH! You little traitor!"
You have a gift for the technological.
