I tired a few new painting techniques to give the armor a beaten worn out look, as if it was out in a desert and had become faded and worn out.

and while looking old I also wanted it to feel as if it was alive as if all those hoses and cables would be moving and pumping like mechanical veins.

I really like this design. It's skin looks a bit organic and this feature gives to to this art some mystery. :D

Thing looks like the offspring of an OZ-12SMS Taurus from Gundam Wing and an EVA from Evangelion...

Actually it looks very similar to one of the mecha from the "Dragon's Heaven" manga and OVA.

Great original concept. A mech design the likes of which I can't say I've seen before. Very alien indeed but still obviously mechanical. My only critique would be on the chest piece. From its "chin" to the end of the piece it seems the angle of perspective changes too much. Other than that I think it's a notable original work worthy of development. :clap:
